the exclusive sponsor of the inaugural exhibition at the new Villa Vauban.

 

The reopening of the Villa Vauban after five years of renovation and enlargement is a major cultural event in the Luxembourg landscape.

 With a desire to make culture and art easier to access, ING Luxembourg is supporting the opening exhibition: The Golden Age Reloaded, the fascination of Dutch paintings in the 17th century – Collections from the Villa Vauban and the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.

 

This exhibition presents works lent by the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and works from the Villa Vauban. This prestigious collection of 80 Dutch and Luxembourg works of art thus gives an overview:

• of artistic, economic and social life in the Netherlands of the 17th century;
• of the taste for painting in the Dutch Golden Age from the 17th century up to now.

 

The exhibition will be presented until 31 October 2010.
