What is the InnovFin SME Guarantee

In 2015, the European Investment Fund (EIF) and ING Luxembourg signed, as the first bank in Luxembourg, an agreement to increase lending to innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as small Mid-caps under the InnovFin – EU finance for innovators program.

The InnovFin program is a joint initiative launched by the European Investment Bank Group (EIB and EIF) and the European Commission (EC) under Horizon 2020, the EU framework for Research and Innovation (R&I). InnovFin – EU Finance for Innovators offers a range of tailored financing products and advisory services to companies of different sizes ranging from SMEs to large corporations and other entities.
The InnovFin SME Guarantee Facility signed by ING Luxembourg is part of it!
