ING Luxembourg S.A.'s protection of investors scheme is provided by the Investor Compensation Scheme Luxembourg ('SIIL'- Système d’Indemnisation des Investisseurs Luxembourg).
The purpose of the SIIL is to compensate eligible investors without undue delay, should a member institution be in default, up to a maximum of €20,000 (unless otherwise stated) per investor and per institution, subject to certain conditions and limits.
Investors are required to submit their request within 10 years as from the declaration or judgment date of the District Court of Luxembourg pronouncing the suspension of payment or liquidation of the credit institution or company investment.
