Views from the top #1: Colette Dierick & Laurent Schonckert

Six months after the Paperjam Top100 ceremony, ING Luxembourg, as partner of the event, is inviting three of the most important Luxembourg personalities in the Grand Duchy's business world for a casual conversation.

Let's look at the bigger picture! For this first episode, don't miss the exclusive talk between Laurent Schonckert (Administrator and Director of Cactus), placed fourth in the ranking, and Colette Dierick in one of the most beautiful spots in the city center: the rooftop of ING Lux House.

It's a meaningful conversation in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on lived experiences and the management of the health crisis. A discussion spanning two different industries, on their values, corporate culture, successes, operational or structural changes and challenges. The common goal is to build tomorrow's world of work.

"When change is upon us, we have to adapt. That's the unique value of mankind: to be able to adapt. This is how we survive and it is up to us to ensure the sustainability of our company", says Colette.

Our two top speakers reflect on the Paperjam Top100 event, sharing their perspective on what it means to be an influencer.

"If you want to be a person of influence, you have to bring people together and have them share your opinions and agree with your actions. Whether it's within your company, society as a whole or just your circle of acquaintances, you have to have an impact on as many people as possible", according to Colette.

"I really wanted to inspire people, to be able to achieve things, to be an agent of change, to shape the future of a company. I love doing that"! says Colette.

"For me it wasn't that obvious. I used to be captain of the football team, so it's true that I didn't shy away from taking leadership positions. I grew up working but if I had been told that I was going to be the CEO of Cactus I would have said "no way"." (Source: Paperjam)
