Key Information Document (KID)

The KID is a document that contains the essential information to understand the nature and risks of any investment funds (or UCITS - Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities) you may wish to invest in.

Some of its key components are:

  • financial data,
  • a risk/reward indicator
  • past performance bar charts

The idea behind the KID is to provide you with easily understandable fund disclosures.

According to the international rules and regulations governing the UCITS such a KID must be prepared by the relevant UCITS and provided to you.
