When we communicate with you

We would like to draw your attention to the ways in which we will contact you, in order to help you identify e-mails or calls from potentially dubious sources.

We will only contact you with Luxembourg telephone numbers starting with +352 and emails ending with @ing.com or @ing.lu

If you receive a phone call containing another telephone prefix than +352 and the person on the line claims to be an employee of ING Luxembourg, you are dealing with a fraudster.

If you receive an email from an address ending with something other than '@ing.com' or '@ing.lu',  for example 'someone@ing.fr', you are dealing with a fraudster as well.

In both cases, the clue is sufficient to determine that the contact is a fraudster but not enough to assure that they are a legitimate employee from ING Luxembourg so be carefull!

We will never send you an e-mail or SMS which contains a link to the My ING authentication page

For security reasons, ING will never send you an e-mail or SMS which links to a page inviting you to enter your login information.

Never access My ING by clicking on a hyperlink sent to you by e-mail or SMS. Always access My ING by manually typing https://www.ing.lu into your browser's address bar.

Ignore any e-mail or SMS which contains these kinds of links (phishing/smishing), and contact us.
